Project F: Garden and Kitchen
Stichting-HEYOKA has access to several pieces of land in Maastricht. This piece of land is classified by fruits, vegetables and herbs so that it meets the needs of the volunteers and customers.
All crops are grown organically.
Volunteers organise "cooking clubs" at which they prepare, cook and serve this home-grown product in a culinary setting.
Subject on demand, workshops and courses based around this theme can also be organised.
Tools an equipment for working with this land are available and have been obtained, in part, from the recycling project (Project E).
Volunteers decide themselves on the contribution they wish to make and arrange joint gardening activities together. Our aim is for these collective activities to take place as often as possible.
